Dear Staff, Students, and Families of San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy,

I am thrilled to welcome you to a new and exciting chapter in our school’s history. As your Superintendent, I am deeply committed to fostering an environment that upholds the highest ethical standards, prioritizes student achievement, embraces innovation, and drives holistic transformation for our community.

My journey in education has been shaped by a passion for creating opportunities and nurturing the potential in every student. As a retired U.S. Air Force Combat Veteran who served in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, I bring a strong sense of discipline, dedication, and service to my role. My experience as the Board Chair for the African American Chamber of Commerce of San Antonio has also provided me with valuable insights into community engagement and organizational growth. Additionally, as a former District Governor for Rotary International, I had the privilege of supporting over 2,500 Rotarians in one of Texas’s largest districts, further solidifying my commitment to service and leadership.

At San Antonio S.T.E.A.M. Academy, we believe that every student deserves a rigorous education that prepares them for the challenges and opportunities of the future. Our commitment to innovation is reflected in our comprehensive STEM/STEAM curriculum, which integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics to foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

We are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive. This includes not only academic excellence but also the social, emotional, and physical well-being of our students. We aim to nurture the whole child, ensuring that they are well-equipped to succeed in all aspects of life.

Our recent transformation is a testament to our collective vision and determination. We have revamped our leadership, curriculum, and school culture to better serve our students and community. This transformation is guided by our core values of excellence, integrity, inclusivity, and community engagement.
