PUBLIC COMMENT PROCESS
We welcome public participation during our board meetings. If you wish to speak during the public forum portion of the general board meeting, please arrive at least fifteen minutes before the meeting starts and sign up on the public comment sign-up sheet. Those signed up before the meeting begins will have two minutes each to speak on any one topic.
Please note that members of the Board of Directors will not respond to comments or questions during the meeting. However, they will provide a collective written response through the office of the Superintendent or their designee. Community members or organizations wishing to speak are asked to refrain from using derogatory language or mentioning the names of scholars or staff members in their comments. The Board of Directors reserves the right to amend this policy as needed, in accordance with the authority granted within the bylaws.
