• A clean background check, with no history of criminal activity or financial malfeasance.

4. Conflict of Interest:

• No conflict of interest with any existing contracts, partnerships, or engagements of San Antonio Preparatory School.
• Absence of any immediate family members currently employed by or enrolled in the school to maintain objectivity and prevent any perceived nepotism.
   

5. TEA Compliance Knowledge:

• Familiarity with Texas Education Agency standards and regulations.
• Understanding of the legal and operational frameworks specific to charter schools in Texas.
  
  

6. Leadership and Governance Experience:

• Previous experience in board governance, strategic planning, and organizational leadership, especially in an educational setting.
• Skills in critical areas such as financial oversight, risk management, and policy development.
  
  

7. Diversity and Inclusivity:

• A commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment within the school community.
• Representation from various cultural, professional, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  
  

8. Communication Skills:
